Xander Kane
Occupation: Evil Mutant RingleaderEducation: Michigan Institute of Technology
His Downfall
Despite his villainous disposition, Xander Kane didn’t always subscribe to the dark side. In his youth, he was a brilliant and promising automobile mechanic who worked hard and studied at MIT. No one questioned his genuine love for cars — an affection passed down to him by his emotionally and physically abusive father, Carson Kane.
The elder Kane owned a number of specialty import service shops in the Midwest that were successful until Carson ran afoul of the IRS. Conflicted over his father’s failure, Xander became increasingly erratic and withdrawn until he eventually fell into a permanent psychopathic state. His deviance, to this day, is unsurpassed.
Kane appoints himself the ring leader and the mutants (Dr. Ace Yield refers to them as a “band of freak-shows”) are always at his command — united by the belief that bigger profits, time- and cost-savings and a hassle-free life are off limits to Manheim customers.
Special Powers Xander Kane’s most striking feature is his brilliant, yet psychopathic brain. All of his armor is protective or prosthetic. He is a mortal man with dastardly intentions
Weapons: Kane's weapons ARE his evil mutants — each one possessing loathsome characteristics that create chaos and mayhem for the automotive industry.
There is Vandal and Scratcher who love to get their grubby hands on frontline-ready inventory. There's also Lot Rot, a very unwanted guest for Manheim customers. Hailstorm is particularly destructive.
While Time Tripper finds joy in creating obstacles and headaches for Manheim customers, Dipstick delights in messing up engines. No paint job is safe if Smear is anywhere close by.
